Flock 2.0

Flock 1.0 established an important precedent. I REALLY like chicks. It also established something equally important. My pen was not remotely predator proof. 6 chickens taken in 2 days, unsure whether fox or owl, though guessing fox with 3 chickens taken per night.

I just ordered flock 2.0. 3 Orpington girls (buff, buff, and lavender), 2 Brahma girls (light and buff), 1 Blue-Splash Marans girl, 1 easter egger girl, and a Blue Splash Marans rooster.

Now. To go put a roof over my run!
