flock block/chicken suet

has anyone ever made a flick block or chicken suet, i was wondering what do you use to harden it, i have heard that some people use fat and i was wondering if that is okay to use? if someone can give me some info it would be greatly appreciated.

I used 2 pieces of bread 2 eggs, scratch, cracked corn, flax seed, grits, sunflower seeds. Bake in a pan after packing it tight 350 for 1 1/2 hours or till hard, they will love it I put it in a suet feeder.
