I've bought a couple of these molded treat blocks from our local feed store. The chickens LOVE to peck them. Only thing, they're 19 bucks!! Anybody ever tried making them on their own? Seems like it couldn't be that hard... (I've said that before...
I buy the forage cakes, and my chickens love them as well. But they are very small and are $12. I remember seeing a thread on here with lots of different recipes for making your own. Type flock block recipes in the search bar and I'm sure you'll be able to find them
they all sounded super easy to make, its just more convienient for me to buy them. Happy hunting!
I buy those song bird bells from PetCo for 2 for $4 each one lasts about a week. I hang them out of their reach so they have to jump to get to them. I think it's good exercise and keeps them entertained.
