Only a bit of experience from years back. I'm no expert. I was just relating to why you might reach for the ivermectin..

There are two types of fowl pox, wet and dry. There is no known cure for either.

Thank you for your advice hopefully it they all survive it and it doesn’t get worse! Have your flock ever had it?

Yes. I've had a few outbreaks of dry fowl pox. Fortunatley not wet fowl pox which can be more problomatic because of the lesions in the throat.

Do NOT use Ivermectin to treat fowl pox. It will not treat nor cure fowl pox as Shadrach stated.
I've dealt with fowl pox as well. I've had birds get dry fowl pox while worming them with Ivermectin years ago and it didnt do anything to stop the spread.

Fowl pox spreads slowly through a flock. It can take a month to 6 weeks to run its course.
You can put iodine on the lesions to help shrink them, avoid the eyes. Eggs are safe to eat.
