Flock got to spend some time outside today.

Since it was such a nice day, I set the crate that keeps the chickies, out on the porch and let them enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.
They REALLY enjoyed it!!

I wish I were brave enough to let them free range a little, but I'm scared I won't be able to catch them.

How old are they? My chicks are about 4 weeks old and when we go out to play, they usually stay all together, in about a 4 foot range. Were you out with them, or were they alone? I take mine out for about 20-30 minutes at a time and have had NO problem grabbing them to go in...besides the fact that I put one in the box and before I get the next one in, the first one has flew out. Little stinkers!
