whats wrong with those two black silkie roo's face? i have a black silkie whose 2 months old and even if it is a rooster... good GOD!

Well, the pics are of the same roo. And he does have a large comb, but he is a rather large guy too. But I do wish his comb were a bit smaller. But the ones I had before had bumpy combs and this guys comb is much nicer shape and smooth. I am anxious to find out how his babies look.

Thanks for the nice comments. I appreciate it. It is so hard to take pics of moving chickens.I will be so glad when spring is here so I can spend more time outside with them.

I only have two buffs. The boy I posted and a buff frizzle that is hard to catch a picture of. I think I have a pair and will be separating them this spring when they are a bit older. Will be my start into buffs.

The seramas are very cute and very animated. Especially I go near those babies. Very funny! Like a little family.

Thanks again for all the nice comments.

That serama chick to the left is already showing nice posture! I like the blacks. So many people are breeding for "color" the wilder, the better, that it is almost a relief to just look at a single colored bird. I think it makes it easier to see the faults in a sigle color bird, but a spectacular single color bird looks just stunning, flawless. I would love to have a few eggs from your lavender cochins if you ever will be selling/trading. PM me if interested in a trade. I already have some trades lined up for the next month or so, but later in the spring maybe? Nice flock. You can be very proud of them.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I really love the black seramas too. I like the colors as well and my roo has lots of colors. But I love the solid black too. That baby has turned out to be a roo, that explains the posture, lol. The other one is a girl and looks like she will be black. I will be breeding the lavender cochins and might consider a trade. Need to outside blood of course. I will check back with you.
