All my old flocks!

flock 1: Black rooster, 3 red hens, one barred rock and one little red rooster

flock 2: Red Rooster, 4 red hens, one buff hen, one red star hen, one gameX rooster(got ride of) some game hens, and GINGER- best hen ever

the grey hen is ginger. I loved that hen SO MUCH!
flock 3: production roo, 3 game, and 5 red hens (game hens were kept)

flock 4: red rooster, black hen + chicks, silkie X + chicks, game hens from flock 3, pullet I raised, EEs I raised, big silver hen

flock 5: 6 red stars/ and one EE

Those look like happy and comfortable chickens.

Question- What kind of rooster is that? There is one just like that next door to me and I think they are the most beautiful roosters I have ever seen

mjdtexan- I bought him at a trade day, to go with the little grey hen.
I belive he is a game cross, and he was HEAVY! He liked to fight my red rooster, thats why I think he might have game in him. I love game cross roosters, they always have big beautiful tails, something our production birds have lost. (except for maybe leghorn)

okiegirl -thank you! Now which rooster you talking about? If its the one mike was talking about then he was an absolute GREAT rooster. he defended all then hens except buffy, he was heavy, he had a great crow, he wasn't too hard when breeding the hens, and he wasn't too skittish of people. he didnt fight me, but he liked to fight my other rooster big red. I think if I had a 3rd rooster that would have stopped though. Now, its wierd... he loved all the red hens, and game hens... except for buffy my buff orp hen. she was the hed hen when big red was in control, and ironically Big red's fav hen. Weird right?
