Flock Raiser for Ducklings

We bought feed at Tractor Supply and all they had was the Flock Raiser Crumbles. I hope this is the right type for our ducklings? The lady there said she gives it to her ducks, but that doesn't mean its right. Ours are a little over 3 weeks old now and I'm hoping to avoid angel wing. They aren't going to be meat birds and I didn't know if the flock raiser was for only meat birds. I know you need to add oats, which I started doing this week, but wondering if the pellets is a better option for them. What brands does everyone buy? Just trying to do it RIGHT!

Welcome to BYC! If the Flock Raiser is fresh it will be fine.

All my ducks eat flock raiser and they're all as noisy and messy as a happy, healthy duck can be.

Definitely...I only supply oyster shell to my Birds that lay. My Chickens also are on the Grower/ finisher feed.

I have never fed a layer feed ever..It's pointless..

I’ve only had my ducklings a little over a month and they refuse to eat dry food. I have mine on a flock feed that my chickens also eat, just a wet version.

I feed layer to my adults because the bags are way bigger, which makes them last longer and they’re at a reasonable price for its size.
I also can only get ‘chick starter’ and ‘grower’ where I am.
