Flock Raiser vs. Chick Starter

Question for y'all. Nobody carries Flock Raiser here. Can my 12 week old layers eat chick starter until they lay?

yes, most definitely ...mine ate it beyond because I had a mixed flock...I just supplied oyster shell on the side for the older ones...they were more than 27 weeks till I switched them all over to layer feed, or in your case Flock raiser.

They can stay on the chick starter.
Also you may look for either,
Big 4 (put out by Buckeye Feeds) or Home Fresh 27 Poultry (put out by Kent Feeds) both are excellent feed but Buckeye being better of the three feed co's. ( Buckeye, Kent and Purina )

I worried about this when the age range of my flock kept changing and decided to move everyone to unmedicated chick starter and offer oyster shell. They get medicated feed while in the brooder until 10weeks-ish when I move them outside.
