What is the most chickens i should have in a 16x8 fenced in area.

The minimum sq ft per chicken in a run is 10 sq ft. You have 128 sq ft, so that works out to no more that 12 chickens, provided you have enough space in your coop to accommodate them. It's best to avoid maxing out the number of birds in your space so they don't start picking on each other.
