I was cleaning some stuff out of the fridge -- freezer-burned chicken breasts, a couple cracked eggs (to be cooked), some random broccoli, and beef stock I hadn't used so I mixed it all up with some scratch and gave the flock a nice, balanced treat.
I put out 5 dishes but, of course, when one of the Splits got a nice piece of something and took off running Popcorn chased her instead of getting her own.
I'd feel sorry for the Split (I didn't see which band), who got her tail pulled viciously, if the Splits hadn't been terrorizing the chicks (even to the point of co-opting their coop last night).
But everyone eventually got a fair share of the goodies.
