So I have an silkie roo and 3 hens, and then 1 rhode island red roo. Will he mess with the silkies ? I would only be able to get him 1 normal sized hen. and it is hard to interduce an new chicken. plus would she be over mated because she would be his only hen? any ideas???
The big roo is funkey and you can see the size of the silkie hen. I really don't want to get rid of him

If the silkie is a hen he will try to mate her and perhaps will over mate her. It would probably be best to get him another hen if you didn't want to get rid of him. I know how you feel not wanting to introduce a new hen. It is hard but eventually worth it. Good luck.
