You ever get flogged by a chicken? I have! When I was a kid and tried to get the eggs. The hn jumped up grabbed me with her feet and whooped the fool out of me! LOL I got flogged good! I learned to wait till the nest was empty or grab her by the sides, pinning her wings to her body. then set her in the floor and get eggs. I forgave her. She was just doing her job, Protecting her eggs. I have learned alot since then and even more since Ifound BYC!!!!! Love it here!!!!!

Thank you...no, never had that experience...this is my first time with chickens, but I was bit by a rooster.....drawing blood..does that count?

Flogging via chicken is when they beat you with their wings - it is like a chicken tornado!!

OH MAN! I have a RIR hen that is on the top of the pecking order. Everytime I go outside she floggs me. Its like a straight attack. I think it just scares the crap out of me more than anything, I mean it, shes stealth.
