floor for the run

What are your thoughts on this please.
I want to build my run with a"floor" of hardware cloth. I will be moving it around the farm and wish for the floor to be predator proof. And since I need to move it around I can not dig the cloth into the ground. So I was thinking of covering the floor with it. Thoughts and experiences please.

if I'm not mistaken most chicken tractors for meat birds are built with a floor of wire. someone with experience should chime in.

Thank you, these will be layer. It's for safety, when I wil be home I will let them loose to enjoy the area and grass and hopefully not my garden At night they will be tucked away but I don;t want to take the chance of anything getting in.
