Floor/walls

How many people when putting linoleum on a floor put a couple
Of inches on the walls or do you just do the floor

We did not go up the walls at all. We did put some baseboards up, though. Our coop floor is kept dry, not the deep litter self composting type that many others use. That may be a factor in your decision.

I have mine flat on the floor. I didn't go up the walls because it would be more of a hassle than a help/ I have all the wall studs. So I would either have to cut each one out and slip the vinyl around each or just lay it across the front. Either way dirt and debris could then get behind and underneath it and cause issues.

I went up the walls with vinyl, look at My Coop page...but my walls are also lined with hardware cloth attached to studs.
I also covered other parts of walls with feed bags to keep bedding from getting between HC and outer sheathing.
Which was partially effective. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't put HC on or vinyl up walls.
