Flooring for Ducks

We have 4 ducks and the area they are in (because they are city ducks) is now mud and stinks. I was wondering if anyone could offer suggestions for a floor. Would sand work?

Yes Sand has worked WONDERS for me when it comes to the duck mess.

I was wondering about this also. I live in london and have 2 call ducks. Now winter is here the grass is just not repairing. I will give sand a go. Surely it must get quite mucky after a while?

yes it will get mucky if it doesn't drain. I suggest a landscape fabric under the sand over gravel to let water out and let the sand stay dry.
