Flooring for large coops - preferences?

In our coop we put down chicken wire with pavers on top and then topped that off with all purpose sand. Before and after below:

One of the main reasons I used vinyl, and a heavy one, is that the coop floor is lined with 1/2" HC.... I'd had rodents chew thru the wooden siding in the past.

I have wood floors with heavy rubber mats that can be removed and hosed down outside when needed. on top of the mats I have pine shavings. I use the same mat/pine shavings system on their poop tray. Makes for easy daily cleaning.
