Flooring for my Concrete Chicken Coop?

Hope it's ok for me to post here. I just joined because I'm preparing a coop so I can get a few hens and this was one of my questions. I have an old dog yard that has a concrete floor and I was wondering if that would be ok for the hens. It's enclosed in chain link (even on top) and is about 6ft x 10ft x 6ft. We're also going to cover the top with tin. I was wondering what you all would suggest for nesting boxes and roosts or whatever. Also, how many hens could comfortably be kept in that size area? Thanks so much for any help!

I'd say six max. Check out the coop pages for ideas on housing.

They will be pretty comfortable in a run of that size. Of course, if you can let them free range daily as well, even better.
