Floppy comb on a Barred Rock

We got two barred rocks last spring. One is undeclared--a large bird with a small comb and wattles, but we think it is a closet roo. The other one, Marsha-Lena, has a flop-over comb. As soon as her comb started growing, it started leaning. Nothing else different about her except that she is a great layer--pretty much every day, and that she "sings". A high, moaning, whining voice not seeming to be related to anything in particular. Oh. And she lays pinkish eggs.

I have a light brown leghorn with the same crazy looking comb looks like a glove bouncing around her head. It did that right before she started to lay and never went back.
