I might go to the clay county fair.What are the dates this year?Hopefully I won't be busy.

  The time of the Clay County Fair is fast approaching.  Anybody going?  Anybody showing?

I know that one 4-Her will be showing at least one White Orpington that she got from my farm. We will be attending and I will do a poultry walk through, but will mainly be there to watch the pig show (hubby is hog cuckoo). We will have someone here at the farm in light of all the theft lately. Be careful posting about when you will be gone. I do believe that thieves (even the bird napping sort) patrol social networking sites looking for opportunities to take what don't belong to them. Cowards...

Have people been stealing livestock? I haven't heard anything about that. The home and car burglaries are probably going to get worst with the economy. That is good advice about not posting too much information on the social networks.

Very true.I never post anything with certainty on any social site.My schedule of to dos is different every day too so its kinda hard to work a schedule out on me.

I haven't heard about any livestock being stolen but I will keep a watchful eye on the flock since you brought it up.

We currently have 6 barred rocks pullets, a buff orpington and RIR pullets (Goldie and Garnet respectively) , 2 cockerels that we don't know the breed of (Alfredo and Catchetorre), a silkie roo (Clyde), and another silkie whos sex we're unsure of who I named Seminole. I look forward to meeting you guys and gals!!
