FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Does anyone know anywhere I can get Gold Laced Orpingtons in fl?
I am willing to travel to get them Hatching eggs, chicjs, or adults.

Hello fellow Floridians! I'm in Central Florida, Babson Park, to be exact, but no one knows where that is. It's close to Lake Wales between Orlando and Tampa.

I was browsing through this thread to find members close by, but there are way too many posts.

I am new to chicken keeping. I got my first 9 chicks in June, and they are now 24 weeks old. They were supposed to all be pullets, but 7 of them turned out to be roosters. Today I traded 6 of them for 4 hens.

Does anyone have some good resources for getting chickens?

Hi everyone. I am new to the site. I live in south florida, martin county to be exact. So excited to be a part of this list and see there is a fl group.
Welcome! I agree. It is nice to be part of a Florida group.

Welcome! I'm also a new chicken keeper. Try not to feel too badly about the roo's. I got 8 EE's as 3 day olds and they ALL turned out to be roo's!!!

I got six older EE's (5 1/2) month olds off craigslist about 5-6 weeks ago. If you watch this forum, you'll probably see someone needing to find homes for their birds from time to time.

Hi crowing hen
I'm in north central Fl by St Augustine about 3 hours north of you.
Good luck with your new chickens.

Hello fellow Floridians i recently lost my big red rooster. I would like to replace him with a similar type of rooste, he was a New Hampshire Red. Im looking for any Rhode island, New Hampshire, or production reds. I would prefer a bird 6months or older. I live in central Florida Sanford, Orlando area. Please contact me directly or by post to this Blog.
Thank you all

I wish I'd seen this yesterday. I just traded a beautiful RIR rooster that's 6 months old. I'm not too far from you in Polk County.

Good luck finding a new rooster.

I have plenty of Heritage Rhode Island Red cockerels around 7 months old, they are from the Reese/Mohawk line. The one stretching in the middle of the photo I'm keeping. He recently won Champion American at a poultry show. His comb somehow got a cut in between the middle points so I can't show him any more but he will go into a breeding pen.
