FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Sorry, I completely forgot to update! My aunt and a friend were both able to help fill the order, so we're good. Our chicks are supposed to arrive in February.

Hello Florida from Pensacola. Thanks for the welcomes in the new member forum. Looking forward to getting into this. My chicks are 9 months old and doing great. Two RIRs and four Americanas.

Welcome from just down the road a piece in Baker (near Crestview)! Are you in the city limits of Pensacola? Do they allow chickens in the city? Okaloosa county is struggling to come up with a chicken ordinance that will allow hens in residential areas. Haven't we had fun with the weather the last few weeks! From 18 one night to over 70 yesterday afternoon!

Does anyone know of breeders of Cream Brabanters? I found one lady in Brooksville, FL, Simone, who is gathering some hatching eggs for me. I may want to add another batch later so that I have different roos for the hens that hatch.

Simone is on some of the FB chicken pages, are you on any of them?

The crazy weather is an even bigger problem with horses. Had to take a vacation day yesterday to stay home with a colicky horse. Did get a little more work done on the coop though. Have to finish it before those babies are ready to move in.
