FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

I'm wanting ring necks and I need to know how to hatch the eggs I have a incubator and auto eggs but need to get trays for pheasant eggs

Pheasants take a little longer to hatch than chicken eggs. The can hatch anywhere from 23 days to 28 days. I kept the humidity and temperature the same as I do for my chicken eggs. What kind of incubator do you have? If it is a styrofoam I think a regular turner should work ok. The only rails that I'm aware you can get for a turner that goes into a styrofaom is either for chicken eggs or quail eggs and a quail egg turner is a little small for Pheasant eggs. I believe there is a thread on BYC where someone was looking for a turner for Pheasant eggs for their Hova-Bator styrofoam and they ended up using a standard chicken egg turner with great success. I have a cabinet incubator and have racks for Pheasant eggs. I don't remember where I got the racks. It's been several years ago that I got them. It may have been on eBay. Good luck and have fun...

This when I put some of the eggs in lockdown in one of the styrofoam incubator to hatch.

I live in Leisure hills which is right next to shady hills. Where do you live?

I have a hova bator so I have the temp 99.0-99.9 and humidity 50-55% and what day is lockdown for pheasant eggs

What would the lockdown humidity be I did chicken eggs 65-70
I keep my humidity around 75% during lockdown plus or minus some is ok. That is what works for me and gives me my best hatches. I also take my chicks out after they hatch and put them in a brooder box until they are dry then they go into a brooder cabinet. That is just again what works for me and the way I do it.
These are some of the Pheasant chicks. The light bulb is one for a reptile tank. It worked. I have a wire inside the box and with the thermometer hooked to it so I can keep track of the temperature. here are some pictures. Good luck and have fun...

I usually incubate the eggs at around 35% - 40%. I have had better hatches with incubating at a lower humidity. The temperature is fine. That's just what has worked out better for me.

I live approx. 1 mile west of Shady Hills Drive, and just south off of CR 578. The street between Mike's Auto Body and County Line Animal Hospital. There is an auction tonite at that Shady Hills resale shop on Shady Hills Drive, just south of CR 578. Auction starts at 7, with previews....umm...now? LOL I am still at work and just saw your response.

The Shady Hills auctions are very small but sometimes, they have a lot of animals, especially chickens and rabbits. They just now started having them twice a month, so tonite is a first for their mid month. Leaving work now...maybe you will read this in time and stop by the auction.
