FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

I am a late this year due to snow birds visiting. The last of the company just left so it's now back to paying more attention to the birds. I finally got the rest of my breeding pens straightened out and who I wanted in what pen. Still have a little bit of work left on the grow-out coop I have been renovating. I have started to collect the eggs for the incubator. Yee-Haw.

I'm in Tallahassee and will be building my first coop. I have 6 chicks right now, goal is to have 3-4 laying hens in the fall. Anyone either have hardware cloth, sand, or cement they want to sell for cheep? Or is anyone in our around Tallahassee looking to sell a coop?

Just wanted to say

Thanks everyone for the condolences. It was quite a shock and we miss him, but the biggest concern now is just for the goats safety. Poor babies can't go outside unattended anymore. :(

I haven't been posting for awhile, just periodically "lurking". Is anyone planning on going to the Clay County Fair next week? I plan to visit the Fair on Saturday. If anyone else will be there on Saturday, feel free to PM me if you would like to say hi. I am also dabbling in chicken math and looking to add a few older pullets or hens to the flock. Our little pet flock is out to pasture all day and locked up in our bigger coop every night. What a life!

Im in Calhoun county Florida and have 5 werk old gold laced wyandotte chicks if anyone is interested. Not sure if this is where I should post ot not. The parents are on the premises. Here a pic when they were one day old.

Anyone have bantam mille Fleur and mottled cochin pullets or hens for sale near in or near Putnam county? Also, I have some hatchery 9 week old bantam Cochin's for sale as well as a standard blue Cochin cockerel, a black copper marans cockerel, and a white Cochin/ dark Cornish cross cockerel for sale. Located in Florahome.

We are in Dunnellon (near Ocala) and we have both Bantam Millie Fluer and mottled cochin hatching eggs available. I also have a ton set in the incubator, and will hopefully have quite a few chicks available. Let me know if we are close enough. We also frequently travel on weekends to the Citra area, which I know is quite a bit closer if you'd be interested in meeting.
