FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

The ones in which you're not allowed to keep backyard chickens unless you live in a rural/ag zoned area. It's my understanding that laying hens aren't even allowed here in suburbia, let alone a rooster lol.

ETA My post is specifically regarding Pasco County Florida, not Florida in general.

Hi everyone, Ft. Lauderdale here. We live in Davie, a small town within Ft. Lauderdale. We have a mixed flock and would love to trade eggs or others goods. It’s a lot of fun.! Thanks all!

Hi :frowfrom North Central Florida. We are working on setting up our chicken coop and yard with waterlines. Hope to have chicks in the spring. Would love to be able to get chicks or fertile eggs locally. We want to start with Buff Orpington, Speckled Sussex and Welsumer chicks/eggs. We raised these before except for Speckled Sussex Just could not find good source.

Hello from pasco county fl. I'm new and trying to figure out the laws and permits for my peeps to be able to start a small farm. Does anyone have any ideas what they are? Google hasn't helped at all...

I have 6 white leghorns and 8 Rhode island reds. I love them and they are like part of the family.

Any help would be awesome. Thank you guys. :)

Hello! I live in Brandon (Tampa Bay Area) and we are getting our chicks the second week in March, I’m so excited! We bought a coop and will be building it soon. I’ve been gathering everything we need for a brooder, almost ready!

We have 4 young Silkies that aren’t laying yet. We have some backyard mixed chicken eggs that are scheduled to hatch this weekend, not sure what exactly is in there, was told the eggs came from silver laced, some old English, and unknown others. We also have some Khaki Campbell ducks scheduled to hatch next weekend. There was a listing on Craigslist for Jersey Giants in Citra.
