FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Hi!
I wanted to join in!
I'm Amanda and I live in Middleburg, FL (that's near Jacksonville). I currently have 4 bantam cochins (1 black frizzle roo, 1 black hen and 2 buff (or red, not sure) hens), 3 white leghorn hens, 2 rhode island red pullets, and 1 cute little serma roo. That's what I have left anyway. I had them set up in a not so predator proof run and something killed 2 of my RIRs and 7 RIRs plus 2 barred rocks just vanished. So the 7 I had left got moved into a 4x8 a frame coop/run til I can build a new run. The 4 bantam cochins have their own 4x8 coop/run where they will stay permanately. Found one of my white leghorns dead today. I think the heat got her. I have to gather up some more supplies, and find someone to help me build it. I can't use power tools to save my life lol. I may have to get over hating to ask people for help. Grr.. My brother built the a frames and my rabbit cage, but he moved to Texas for work.

Hello, I am not sure if this is the best place for this post? If any one is interested on two Nubian Wether (neutered male goats) they are just weaned these are being given to a loving home by a Veterinarian who owns the doe. I will try and get pics if anyone is interested. These are not from my herd I am simply trying to help her place them and hoping they go where they will be cared for? Feel free to pm me with any questions. Thanks in advance for your time.

Hey I was wondering if there was anyone in the N. Palm Beach area on here? My dad lives in this weird little pocket between Juno Beach and N. Palm Beach and we're trying to find out the laws about owning chickens in that area and how many people are in that area and if there are regular swaps down there (phew that was a long sentence of questions)?

I'm a little south & west of there, in the Acreage/Loxahatchee area. But I don't know about the chicken laws in the area you mentioned, it would all depend on just where your Dad is. We do have a nice "Chicken Club" here, it's called the Palm Beach County Poultry Fanciers Association, our next monthly meeting is this Friday 5/28. Check it out at http://www.PoultryFanciers.com

Well finally all has been updated. Ohh and Kathy that Duck on a leash was very cute
