No, I took the course, but don't have the permit yet. I wouldn't leave my property with a firearm, because then I couldn't say I was protecting my property! Both of my parents have permits to carry Glocks, and they're meticulous about following the rules. Last year my (senior citizen) mom stopped a pit bull that charged my dad while his back was turned. I actually do have a decent pellet handgun. I stung the rump of a nasty tomcat that used to come over and cause trouble, but it just doesn't have the power and range that I'd need in the case of three big fast moving dogs. Right now my weapons are a high-power spotlight, and a really big golf club.

Use a piece of rebar. And I bet once they get hit with that there is noway that dog or dogs will want to mess with you again thats if they are alive after you hit them.

We went to the feed store for a load of hay today, and ended up with a couple new chickies too! Not that we needed more, but if they're cute, chicken math kicks in. They're buff and partridge Silkies - one with an adorable puff. Maybe if I bug my teenage enough she'll post pictures for me.

A freind told me about this lady who had a litter of peekapoo/shihTzu puppies and coudnt afford to look after them all and couldnt sell/keep them..so I have a boy and a girl from that litter. Then last week a guy that delivered a chain link dog run to my house was telling me he had border collie pups for sale .... Always wanted a border collie! so now I have one

She is great with the little pups and they all wear each other out racing around the house .
Pity about the chain link dog run.....seems I have to have a permit for that too

so...its still stacked up beside the garage!
