Hello! I am in St. Cloud, Florida.......I have Wheaten Marans, BC Marans, Wheaten Ameraucaunas, Blue Orpingtons( Just started this project), Welsummers (New project just chicks), and some easter eggers/ barnyard mixes. Woul love to connect with some locals.....

I have found a site to tell you when they are going be spraying for SKEETERS.Since they say skeeters are worse this year than they was in the past.Get some Permethrin and mix according to water and spray your chicken coops down to help the ease of skeeters biting your chickens. http://explorer.arcgis.com/?present=f50b3c9bc30547e7accfd0f6488f2ac2

Hey ya'll. Anyone know someone whom I might be able to get a very tame cockatiel youngster from? My mom's "Blue" parakeet flew out the door the other day.

I got him for her about 2 years ago. She lives by herself and liked his antics and sounds. She's retired and home most of the day. I would like her to have a bird that is more comfortable around people, Blue was not. I'm thinking cockatiel or another parakeet sized bird. No parrots, please. Thanks for your help.

Same here, but only for the 2nd or 3rd time this year. Last year it was worse. I measured 3.6 inches of rain in the last 24 hours!

At least the ducks & geese are happy...
