We've just begun our fight here in Escambia County. The Count Board of Commissioners dropped the topic from their agenda tonight after they realized there was more support in favor of allowing chickens than they thought. If they hadn't, the moratorium on the existing ordnance would have been lifted, which would have turned our county chickens into felonious fowls over night.

Yes, we need to know special tricks that other groups might have used because we are going to have a fight on our hands! At least two people are dead set against us. Unfortunately, one of them is the county planner who has to draft the new ordinance!

Brookhavens, I live in Spring Hill, but the Pasco side. I have an acre with 34 chickens, including 6 roos I'm not supposed to have. I had 8 but 2 brothers were absolute non stop screech in your ear. Now they live at the stable I keep my horse at. The other ones are pretty good.
