I live in Lake County, Eustis an hour away from Ocala. I go there frequently though. I have silkies and 1 Brahama Rooster and 1 Barred Rock hen, 1 Buff Oprington Hen, 3 Brahama and Barred Rock cross hens, 1 Maran Rooster and one Lilac Maran hen. Looking to start raising Cochins, I've fallen in love with them. Love this site.

Well, cool. I am just across the Shands Bridge. I am looking forward to the Clay county Fair coming up soon. I will be looking at the birds with a new eye now that I am a poultry owner too!

Same here. I was just talking about the fair and the chickens that would be there with my DI. We went last year and I fell in love with the Seabrights. Is there anything going on in St. Johns County any time soon?
