FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

I live in Lake County, Eustis an hour away from Ocala. I go there frequently though. I have silkies and 1 Brahama Rooster and 1 Barred Rock hen, 1 Buff Oprington Hen, 3 Brahama and Barred Rock cross hens, 1 Maran Rooster and one Lilac Maran hen. Looking to start raising Cochins, I've fallen in love with them. Love this site.
It sounds like you have a nice flock. My friend raises Cochins and I have taken a liking to them too.

Hahaha, sneaky Stan

I keep seeing things about Naked Necks, what exactly is it? Are they chickens, turkeys or what are they? I have never seen them before until now?

Here are some Inverness show photos that we took.

There were over 1100 birds being exhibited. Thanks to the organizers for giving us the opportunity to participate!
Wow, thanks for posting these pictures!! I had no idea... very cool.

x 2, but I'm going with chicken. They do have an interesting look to them.

Jbarrett, the naked necks is another breed of chickens
A lot of people think that it's a cross between turkey and chicken, but that is not true

N naked necks are a very nice breed of chickens, good egg layers very cold and heat hardy, you can find them in bantam too

There used to be a club for NN but I don't know what happen to it

I breed them and have different colors the recognized colors are ( black, buff, white and red )
But I also have splash ,blue and my newest is BLR
and I'm so thankfull to Stan for voluntaryly offering me some BR for my next project color

But if you look in my profile pics you can see these chickens I got a few pics there

Nava.
