FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Well my eggies are incubating, too early to candle yet but I can't help counting them before they hatch. I'm not incubating them of course so just waiting anxiously to hear how many there will be. Also picking up a couple aracaunas and black coppers so I get some standard eggs too. So that's 11 eggs, 7 are the d'uccles that we don't know about yet and the other four have chicks. Think that's likely to yield 4-8 hens? I can house 8 max and still be just at the 4 square feet of coop per bird. Extras and roos will be sold to help out the lady incubating my eggs for me.

If anyone is interested I am in North FL near Lake City and have some cotournix chicks for 1.50 (a day old right now) and next week I will have pure bred bantams (the chicks are mixed but all are purebred) and also some mixed large brown egg layers for 2.50/chick and some button quail for 2.50 as well :)

Hello FL neighbors... I was wondering if anyone happens to have a phone number or contact information for Sunshine Silkies?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just dropping by to say hello from Christmas, FL in Orange County!
Ok, I just gotta say it since no one else has... so welcome and Merry Christmas!

So sorry!
But welcome to the wave of new comers these past few days.

Yesterday I got one egg in the am and three in the afternoon! From famine to feast in a hurry. I am not sure if it is the New Hampshire and Barred Rock alone, or if the RIR has jumped in. How dark are RIR eggs?
