Hi Everyone!!

I am in High Springs, just got my first chicks EVER last week and am totally obsessed. I can't believe how much my family and I are enjoying this experience!

Thank you for the warm welcome!! On Monday I got 1-Jersey Giant, 1-Gold Lace Wyndotte, 1-Barred Rock and 1- Speckled sussex. On Tuesday I got 2-Buff Orpingtons, Wednesday I HAD to get 2-Americanas and 2 more Buff Orpingtons. I think I need one more though. It was with the Buff Orpington's at the feed store and they said it was a white egg layer, not sure of the breed but I may as well get one now while it will be the same age as the rest! My husband thinks I may be having a midlife crisis!! LOL I don't anticipate being able to keep and care for so many longterm though. I will have to wait and see how the "chicken math" works out. :)
