Hey everyone I know it sound and it is a rookie question but can anyone help me with tips on how to tell the difference between a pullet and a cockerel?

The cockerels are starting to get their combs at 6 weeks.

What kind are these? Sorry if you said before I might have missed it. I have some white leghorn and deleware about this size and same thing they are starting to get their red combs!

In the pictures in the above posts there are a couple of white pullets but many are cockerels. You can definitely see the combs and wattles starting to grow on the males.

Wow, CMOM! thast was a great lesson on deferentiating the difference. You make it seem so much easier than I ever thought at that age. In the future, I would be more likely to look at purchasing younger poultry. Thank you!
