Hi folks! I want to move to Lakeland/Polk City this year, but I want to keep my chickens! Anyone know where I should be looking for a house/manufactured home with space to free range? I hear in winter haven that chickens run around like they own the place my hubby works out of Davenport/Haines city area so I don't want to be too far from his job. Im hoping to have my chickens legally but... if I can keep my Large dog and cat, I will gladly be an outlaw

Hi guys i was wondering when you think my hens might lay i bought them in march when they were babies one is a barred rock and the other is a rhode island red.my rooster who is the same age is already mating with them i see him do the foot dance lol and hop on them .... poor girls lol but i seen no eggs yet i think maybe about 6 months but not sure .............also what should i put down in there coop for them to make a nest ... thanks
