FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Put him in a dog kennel and keep him in the garage or something to muffle the noise until you can find a home for him.I had to do that with the accidental roosters I got.

He's living it up in my empty spare bedroom. Walls and floor are papered and has shaving. LOL I also built him a temp perch so he can look out the window. But its still not anyway for a hunter gatherer to live.

As far as feed store I called a few and they said he'd be eaten. So that's only a last resort.

I have some Hens if you're interested. We live near Lake City
i'm so excited to talk to you about this LOG ON!!!! hehehe

I'm going to have some English orp pullets in a couple months, I just want to wait a little longer so that I pick mine.

They are all huge and gorgeous it's going to be hard.

Do we have any wyandotte breeders in Alachua county or nearby? DH is nearly done with the coop and I'm trying to see what prices are locally (if I can afford to buy local chickens, I would like that very much) and would like my flock to be a mix of araucana/EEs, wyandottes, and speckled sussex. Though if I were buying from a hatchery I wanted a few anconas and australorps as well. Also looking for a couple buff orps for my mom (she's partial to blondes). Plus 6-8 guinea keets.

So what are local prices like? Would it be best to decide what local swaps/shows I might be going to and coordinate from there? Is my understanding correct in that there will be more chicks in the fall (since laying backs off in summer here)?

Cpartist, your girls and eggs are beautiful!!!! I live in Oviedo and sometimes travel to Gainesville for work. Are all your girls healthy? I'm terrified of CRD.

Thanks Wednesday! Yes, all healthy, no issues at all. I have closed flocks and have never and will never bring in adult birds. All my starts have been from shipped eggs or chicks, and haven't done that in a long while. Everyone coming on the property gets their feet sprayed with Oxine

I just looked at your entire website and your birds are truly amazing! When its time to get chicks, I'd love to contact you. Do you sex your chicks or straight run only? If you don't mind PMing me prices for BCMs, Welsummers, and olive eggers, it would be much appreciated. Again, fantastic job on your birds and eggs
