Did Vera get ahold of you? She found someone with chicks for $25-35 each. She's buying some, I told her to let you know.

No I haven't heard from her in a few days. The last I did she said she was selling off a bunch of her flock lol.

They're too hard to give up like that. She loves her chickens like I do.

I think my pied and penciled call pairs are both laying now. I stuck 4 in the incubator this week lol. 2 already growing and should know about the other 2 in the next couple days. Saved the 2 I collected today so if they keep laying I can send at least 6 to Lori on Wed. With my luck though they probably won't give me 6 in 3 days lol. They're still so sporadic lol. The little one that hatched the week before last is having fun with all the baby chickens lol. Once I get hers out I will have some available for others

That would be great thanks. I would like to get 8-12 eggs. Would like to have a trio or quad. Found someone in Michigan who has eggs but too cold to ship right now and would rather find someone closer.

Thank you! And I showed 3 of the sex link market hens through FFA. A friend with a red shirt helped me with my cage during my auction, and I was the one that was carrying my hen upside-down like a baby when people were bidding.

My daughter will be showing with 4H next year since she is homeschooled and we are zoned for Evans Unless we could possibly get her in another school FFA we are stuck. not that there is anything wrong with either one

Keep in mind I still have 3 hens back at school that need to be sold, 1 of which is a very special birdy to me! If you're interested, that is.
In my opinion, you should see if you can get her into the either Wekiva High School or University High Schools programs. They always have a lot of good kids showing, so she would have a lot of help and support. I was the only student from Dr.Phillips who showed, and I didn't see too much of Evans. Not that they aren't good schools, but your daughter would have much more peer support at the other schools.
