I might be placing an order again for around that time frame. I'm receiving some chicks any time now (they have shipped out), so I'll need to look at my set up to be sure I can move them around within that time. If so, I order about 70 or so at a time, so I can add some on for you if you'd like.

That sounds great. Let me know. Where do you usually order from?

Update.. They have been rehomed.. Yay!

FL Keys - Rescued Porcelain Roo(s) needs home!. Including pic of bigger one - and willing to drive to South FL or meet up halfway to central FL? Any direction, ideas for exposure, resources are appreciated. Although I've lurked / learned on this site since 3/13 (after gaining 2 hens), this is my 1st post.

FL Keys - Rescued Porcelain Roo(s) needs home! Long story but I found two young Porcelains in a CVS parking lot and knowing their future was dim - captured and brought home. The next morning- I learned they were roosters (yep around 6am). I've had them for 7 weeks? with no problems- but today they got in first real battle and luckily I stopped it before somebody lost an eye ( or worse). I don't have a real yard to keep them seperate and need to do something asap. The roo's are beautiful and their 1st? molt happened recently. Lurkers are always welcome. I think a lot of us were lurkers before we became members.

Quote: I sure will. DH and I are getting old and don't know how much longer we will do this. He keeps wanting me to downsize. I incubate in a cabinet incubator but hatch in my stryrofoam incubators. I had 2 cabinets but did sell one. Now he wants me to get rid of 3 of my coops. (I'm keeping birds in them)

I lived there my whole life until 2000. My mom lives right off of Krome Ave closer towards Kendall and my Sister and her husband live out by Homestead Airport. He owns Captain Carwash in Homestead.....
