FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Hi, I am new here and someone recommended me to get in this thread since I am in Florida. I am looking for places in South Florida (I live close to Miami), where I can go and actually see laying hens for sale. What I have found so far is online sales, and I don't want to use that route. Thanks in advance and God bless!
Hello Nina:
Not sure why the florida thread never lets me know when there is activity here.

anyways have you tried your local tractor supplies?

I know most everyone of them up in north florida they'll have people who set up in the parking lot on saturdays and show off livestock for sale, and they will also know of ALL the shows around and whatnot to help you out.

Your local craigs list may show some listings too that are local but be VERY careful about buying anything out of that place.

I have two Olive Egger pullets available in Ocala. 6 months old, wheaten colored, pea combs. Moms are Isabel Ameraucana with truly blue eggs, and the father a BCM from a breeder with very dark eggs. So, I expect when the girls get laying, they will be quite olive.
$25 each.
Hi!
Are these still available? I am located in Geneva, but am willing to drive to pick up.

In Ocala, FL. I have available some 2-month-old Mosaics.
One Cockerel can come with one or two Pullets.
This line is reasonably consistent with BLUE ears and skin. Like Silkies, their ears color in at maturity. Their skin is already blue from hatch.
I got them from a good breeder in Louisiana and came home with more chicks than we needed. Some cute colors and they are very robust, friendly birds.

I’ll take these if they’re still up for grabs! It’s about a 2 hour drive, is that reasonable you think or too much stress for them?

I responded above your post 🙂
They sold last month to a nice lady. At the moment I have hatching eggs available for real Ameraucana, and will probably have chicks available Feb - March.
