FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Hi....I am in Sorrento, Florida (central fl). Started chicken fever in April. I now have 2 laying Buffs and 17 5 week old chicks. I have a page if you care to view it. Feel free to give me advice. I have made my share of mistakes, but fortunately nothing tooooo serious.

Looks like I'm going to need a place to board them for a few weeks until we can move. Started looking for work and a new place in our old town as well as a new place here. I'm willing to pay for care and feed and help with cleaning and maintenance, just need a place to keep them cause I refuse to get rid of them. I have a little less than 2 weeks to do something.

Awww, I'm sorry for this trouble & am sorry to see you go from here. But I hope you can find better things back where you came from. Do you think Code Enforcement will let you keep your birds there once they learn you are planning to move? It would be worth it to ask them & see, it would be less stress for your birds to keep them with you there.

Chickeepoo here in Orlando… with 2 Production Reds, 1 Lt Brahma, 1 Cuckoo Maran, 1 RLB Wyandotte Splash, 1 Ameracuana, & 1 Black Cooper Maran… and still have 6 muscovy ducklings looking to get to NY!

Theres no reasoning with those people. I've tried talking to them but that code enforcement officer is just a witch and didn't wanna hear anything I had to say and hung up on me. If we can find a place in jupiter farms or loxahatchee we won't have to go back to Perry, but so far that hasn't happened.

I tought you said only Two??

Sorry for the confusion! SIX hatched, Kathy in NY wants at least TWO for herself! The others need loving homes (not on the rotisserie), still need help with that. I really didn't think you'd be game to take ALL of them with you, considering the size they'll be soon… but let me know, at any rate- they're outgrowing their cage fast. I let them out to swim in their baby pool a couple of times a day, and they eat-poop-grow the rest of the time!
