I am so excited, we are getting 6 breeding pens from Jesse of Pauls's Poulty for our call ducks, also hoping to get two breeding trios at the same time.

We also have a lead on two very nice looking young splash Sebastopol geese to add for next years breeding program.

Going to tear down our run on the front of the chicken coop, they free range with no problems now a days, the doors are always open incase of storms and the Pyrenees is always out with them as protection. Peafowl octagon pens set to be built soon, moving a grow out pen hopefully this weekend so I can put auto waters in it. Our local handyman is working on breeding tractors for me for the chickens, will keep the roosters separated in them, and the hens will rotate 3-4 hens at a time with the roo for fertile eggs. Roos will get pasture time, while the hens will have the yard.


Lots to do, but feeling like we have a game plan and a good set up planned out for what we are wanting to do.

Actually, hadn't even thought about chicks lol, so focused on the call ducks right now. He just called though so I am off to call back and chat.
