Speaking of big fat Rouen ducks, I got our first duck egg yesterday!!

I want one of those bags, FL chickens. Too cute! Maybe the second one with the chicken on it. It will be a birthday present to myself at Nava's swap.

Thanks for all of the responses so far on feed. I use purina when I have to, but try and feed only Nutrena to everything we have. I like their products, the quality, and the pricing for as much feed as we go through. We have 9 feed barrels set up and labeled for each feed, scratch, BOSS and crimped oats. 3 others for DE, grit, oyster shell. Wish BOSS wasn't sky rocketing in price.

yea prices are crazy, the flock is a free range flock so we don't use much feed, but it always stays full, they just rather eat the bugs

they eat the most early in the morning before I let them out
