FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

It would be fine, if I actually could trap anything! This morning half the tuna-mush sandwich was gone, and the trap was sprung but devoid of the culprit. Fortunately all our animals seem to be safe (even the well-cloaked Muscovy sitting on eggs nearby). I had another good cry for the loss of our dear goose friend, and I'll just set the trap again tonight.

Lisa you will have to make sure the coon has to work for the food he is trying to steal..Make him really work hard for what he wants.Cause if it's something just laying on the lever to activate the trap all he has to do is tip toe in and gently pick up the sandwich and walk off.But if he has to work for it he will never get out with food in mouth. With a can of sardines what I done was barely open the can leave the lid on it but barely pull the lid back to where it's only open maybe 1/8th inch & tie it to the trap and I bet you will ctch something.

I heard too that you should tie the trap down somehow or put a concrete block on top so it can't roll over as once it is flipped the door opens? something like that. and people have also wrapped the end where the food is with hardware cloth so the coon cant reach through and get the food that way.

Coons are very intelligent animals, when you think you have them out smarted they will prove you wrong almost everytime. You have to think like a coon. How do I do this without getting caught,How do I do this without getting caught.People always think coons are stupid but in real life they are not. Now how in the world will I catch this coon
