FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Hurray, back home after working the floods in both NJ and PA. Lots of work to overcome all the damage.

I had some bad news when I arrived home, 2 of our girls had died....Johns favorite was 1 and another went missing. We havea couple of non-friendly, non-egg layers so soon they will met the great stew pot. This will leave mewith only 6 girls. Who is hatching or has little ones to dd to my flock. I want heritage breeds that are brown or colored egg layers. I am only looking to add 6 more and would love to have 2 of each breed to go with my mixed flock.

Johns last chemo is tomorrow, yippee. He has done so well, but not looking orward to another biospy.

Hey Carol, How's Wobble? did she start laying ever? Is she missing? If she isn't laying and you don't want her I'll take her back..

Wobble is fine and she has taken Bertha's place in John's heart She is a sweet chick and at this point only 1 hen is laying, not wobble. The hens gone are 2 Dominques and a beautiful Black Cooper Maran. The other Maran is the only hen laying, all others (except Wobble) going thru a molt. Wobble is a really pretty girl with the funniest run. We thank you, but no you can't have her back.

Carol,

I have a few EE's larger this years first laying year, and EE and OE younger. There was an add on CL for RIR also. Will try and find it for you. Congrats on the last Chemotherapy! Sorry one of the hens went missing. We are battling cyotes up here some awful right now.

Carol,

Sorry to hear about your chicken troubles. Our only Maran laying went BROODY... actually, the other one may have, too, I just didn't realize it fully. One egg could have been hers. One died of sour croup. Very sad. Anyway, I bought the Maran a clutch of fertilized Maran eggs on E-bay. Will let you know how the hatch goes & who is for sale. I might just wanna keep a bunch... but if they ALL hatch, I can not keep them all.
