crossgirl
this kind of Orps don't tend to fly much cause they are bigger that the regular orps, my cockerels were already bigger than my other roos at 7 months old.and you should see them now at 11 months old, I think I'll be bringing a pair just to show the size over to the Tampa Swap
Nava.
Do they fly? They're too fat after the first 12 months!!
Crossgirl, my Golden Laced Cochins don't move much at all either! They don't roost. It's hard to get used to. Watchin' their big ol' butts sure is entertaining tho.![]()
Well that sounds perfect! I bet they're pretty. Do you ever have eggs for sale or is there no matching roo?I have a banty cochin roo who is pretty slow and lazy.He does roost though. Supposed to be an FFA project for the youth fair but someone's son managed to miss the big pink posterboard sign in the classroom as well as the teacher's verbal remdinders to turn the entry forms in and when I thought to wonder about it, I was a week late.So now we have another roo to rehome.![]()
