Hi all!!! I haven't been able to get on here in a while. The baby developed a small case of pneumonia because of the crazy weather changes & I just finally got it to clear up, but now he has developed asthma because of the fluid that was on his lungs. (So please say a little prayer or thought for him if y'all wouldn't mind.) But on a happier note, his 1 year birthday is in less than 2 weeks & I am so excited. Plus my Dominique babies are getting big & doing great as well as my white silkies. I hope all of you are doing well. Now I gotta learn how to navigate my way through the new changes.

Ok so.. I have one Appenzeller Spitzhauben that has been laying but has abruptly stopped over the last couple of weeks. She isn't broody, doesn't seem to have any health issues (I did just treat for lice/mites but she didn't seem to have any or not enough to see anyway). She is eating/drinking behaving totally normally.. just not laying. I didn't figure here in Florida we got cold enough for her to stop since she a Swiss bird but.. ideas? She's only about 8 months old

OH good! Fox 13 just e-mailed me and said they might come do a story on the swap! My April one was in the newspaper, too, so I'm hoping for a good turnout!

It's so hard when babies are sick. Glad he is getting better, hope it all clears up for good!
