Sorry you asked for it. But seriously ..... it does look like one of my brown leghorns and a male at that. Some of the ones I got are lighter brown that others.

Ok ok ... well, I hope it isn't a boy.. because I can't keep boys and my daughter picked this one out..

OH and you know what's funny.. that Lav Orp ROO I was trying to get rid of.. yeah I think it's a hen.. about 19 weeks old now so.. would be crowing yes? and much redder YES?

 
Some times they fool you. I've had roos that looked like hens then overnight Poof you got a roo. Especially if you have a bunch of roos in the hatch some will be dominate and the others kind of lay back for awhile. I had people on the Gender thread tell me they were pullets. Boy were they wrong. LOL
 
Jessica, didn't see anyone else answer you about shipping. Yes you need to be NPIP to ship, some states such as Virginia require additional testing and permitting to ship into them. Boxes are purchased online and shipped to you to put together and use. One maker of approved shipping boxes in Horizon and is the most well known.
