Counties would deffinetly allow people to connect more locally in the state.

I like the county Idea, as the list of chickens well there's just to many people and breeds that they have, too much work,

But if I list in alphabetical order the counties and who lives in them maybe that would be easier, what you guys think>

I like the idea of counties.Some of us own city chickens and do not have the option of expanding or breeding.That would be why I would not attend the chicken meet/swap.For us its just nice to know a near by neighbor we dont need to know who owns what.If we are seeking some thing specific we can ask our near by neighbors with a personal message.

I like the county idea. Would it help if we change our location on our profiles to the counties we live in?

We can always put our breeds in the signature line, if we know everyone in nearby counties, it would be easy to find what we are looking for.

Hi All,

I like the by county ideal. But can we also break the countys up by area??

What I mean is:

1. North East Florida (Panhandle) then list by county.

2. North Florida (Big Bend area North, Lake City. ect.)

3. North West Florida ( Jax, St, Augustine, ect.)


And so on, that way we can meet our neighbors in next door county's. And it will help people out who are new to Florida and only know the name of the county they live in.

That is fine, but was just thinking of all the people that are still moving into Florida. I pretty much know all the counties and what cities and large towns are in them. Was just trying to help out the people that are new to the area that they live. I know some people that live in the bigger cities don't know what is around them. I have hauled livestock all over this state, so I can find just about anyone I am looking for and am great with directions. Was just thinking of others who are new to here.

Hey all, we have a number of under a year, year old and 2 year old EE girls we are looking to part with. Will make a deal on large quanity single buy, or can sell off in small groups. Many are Ameraucana roo over EE hen off spring, lots of blues, creams and other not typical feather colors.

Our son is also culling hens from his French black copper marans flock this spring. Either too heavy or no leg feathering or too light an egg for breeding. These girls are just starting to lay, so as he sorts limited numbers will be available. These are a school project flock for him, and he will be setting eggs and selling hatching eggs as well.

I love the county idea! That would be eeally helpful. If i decide ro look for a special breed then i can always post a request after checking my county or surriunding counties. It would be cool IF someone wantes to be a source for a specific breed like
Polk county
Lakeland
Chicknadventure

And the our siggies has our assortment we could also make it that all changes would need to be submitted the 1the st of the month amd editmts happen once a month so the person who has to do ets wouldnt have to do them all the time.
