I am so impressed with the size of this bird! Why, it's taller than that horse and nearly reaches the tree top!
Yes they can have feathered feet as a chick and loose it when they get older. Much to the dismay of breeders of feather footed breeds that wanted them feathered. LOL
Oh and I looked at a lot of pics on the Official orpington site and I think the white smudge they get when they get older is OK. I saw a few hens that had this. It's not like it's the white lobe that leghorns get.
Okay good! I will hope for that. I already have 2 silkie/EE mixes that have feathered feet...that's enough for me.
