I was standing on the railing of my porch. It's only 3 ft. from my carport. The very top of the picture is the overhang on the roof of my porch. Glad it wasn't a heavier piece.

So glad to hear you are OK. I can't imagine what it is like to find a piece of plane on your carport.

Called them right after I found it. They came out an hour later and took a pic. He said someone from crime scene investigation would be out to pick it up in the next couple of days. They are picking up parts from all over the area.
